Deb recently retired as Chief Executive of the Unity Schools Collaborative and also from her role as school head at Yorkswood Primary Community School in Kingshurst. With over 30 years of working in and around Solihull, Deb has strived to improve life for local families and ensure that young people are included and participating in enrichment opportunities. Deb is an advocate of collaboration towards meeting common challenges. Deb is also the current Chair of Around Again, based in Fordbridge. A keen traveller, busy grandparent and Birmingham City fan!
Dave joined the trust after retiring as Head of Coleshill Heath school in Chelmsley Wood, North Solihull. With over 40 years of working in North Solihull, Dave is passionate about providing opportunities to all people. To this end Dave set-up pioneering early years provision, worked as a consultant for the schools regeneration partnership in North Solihull and continues to be involved in a number of community groups, governing boards and is a trustee of Around Again and chairs Colebridge Enterprises. Dave enjoys rugby and live music.
Phil is a retired management consultant, local resident and continues to work volunteer as school governor. A proud father, grandfather and volunteer childcare provider.
Warren is owner of Start 2 Finish Marketing, an established marketing company who predominantly work with the manufacturing sector. Warrens passion for manufacturing supports the social enterprise work of Colebridge. Outside of work, he participates in amateur dramatics.
Jenny is an HR Business Partner for a global power management company providing energy
efficient solutions that help customers effectively manage electrical, hydraulic and mechanical power.
Prior to this she had HR roles in the retail sector and has experience at all levels of human resources. Outside of work Jenny enjoys travelling, running, reading and pottering about in the garden.
Gemma joined the board to utilise her Management Accountant experience to support a local charitable cause. As a Birmingham resident and parent, Gemma is passionate about employment, education and training.
Lisa lives within North Solihull and has many years of valuable knowledge from within a local town council, schools and the local schools collaborative. Also as a parent, Lisa understands the challenges that local young people face and is passionate about inclusion and families. Lisa is also on the board of the Around Again Charity – who collaborate regularly with the trust.
Richard is Head of Housing and Neighbourhoods at Bournville Village Trust, he is passionate about housing and communities and hopes to support the trust with its plans to venture into community-led housing.
Andrew runs his own I.T consultancy, supporting organisations across the Midlands. As a Solihull resident, Andrew is keen to see levelling-up across the borough and is passionate about skills and enterprise.
Mandy has many years of working in Solihull, as an employee of Solihull Community Housing. As an engagement officer, Mandy is well versed in the challenges that local people face and was instrumental in helping Around Again to reestablish itself as a local grassroots charity.
Sue has worked as a school business manager within North Solihull for a number of years and is also a trustee of Around Again. Sue is passionate about food poverty and young people.
Philip is a North Solihull resident and is passionate about education, inclusion and law. He is currently studying law, as part of his apprenticeship with a Birmingham based firm.
Chet joined Colebridge (in a joint role with the Unity Schools collaborative) in 2016 to develop the social enterprise and employment and skills work. He previously worked with Solihull Council within Economic Development & Regeneration, working with stakeholders on projects that included regeneration, enterprise, schools, employment, digital inclusion, health & wellbeing and community development. His prior private sector work experience includes management roles, business development, commercialisation, professional recruitment and marketing. Chet is a Birmingham City fan, loves live music and is the proud father of 2 young boys. More latterly he has studied Public Health and is passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of local people.
