The Voluntary and Community Sector, and Local Residents, have a key role in shaping and delivering the work that supports their local area. We support the idea of inclusive growth with further information available by clicking here.
Over the years we have delivered a range of short-term and long-term contracts to support the third sector, private sector & public sector through consultation with communities. Our consultation work has included issues relating to health, well-being, community assets, and regeneration. We have also been involved in a number of pilot projects and helped to develop proof of concept for projects that can benefit local communities, such as street associations. Also more recently, we have supported the rollout of a pilot Department of Work and Pensions initiative with strands of work targeting both potential service users and service provider.
The Trust continues to represent the local third sector on local boards and panels and we are recognised by Locality as the local Community Development Trust for North Solihull; sometimes described as a community anchor organisation.
Our team can help you to engage with local residents, groups and organisations. This could save you time, money and help you to ensure that the right people are involved in planning, decision making and improve utilisation of assets and services. Our approach is one of partnership and the sharing of information, ideas and benefits. Some of the best initiatives have come from collaborations of people, organisations and community groups; a reflection of the interconnected society in which we all live.
