At Colebridge Trust, we’re here to support people, strengthen communities, and help local organisations thrive across North Solihull.
Every year, we work alongside hundreds of residents, volunteers, and community organisations to tackle the challenges our communities face from unemployment and food insecurity to health and wellbeing. Our role is to bring people together, build capacity, and create opportunities that make a real, lasting difference.
We support and connect voluntary and community organisations across North Solihull — helping them access funding, share resources, and grow their impact. Through this work, we’re strengthening the local sector so it can better support the people who need it most.
We also represent the voice of our communities in local partnerships and decision-making across Solihull, making sure local people and organisations are heard and included.
Through partnerships like NorthernSol, we’re helping to shape a more connected, resilient, and ambitious North Solihull.
Our work is rooted in real outcomes for local people and organisations. Each year, we:
Supporting inclusion, community empowerment, and grassroots action. We act as a Local Trusted Organisation for the Big Local project in Smith’s Wood – Cars Area Together, helping residents lead change in their area.
Facilitating knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and leadership development across the voluntary sector, including leading the Social Economy Cluster for Kingshurst and North Solihull
Recruiting and supporting volunteers across our programmes, while helping local charities and community groups develop strong volunteer programmes and management systems.
Providing bid writing, accountancy, IT support, and consultancy across the West Midlands. We have secured significant funding for Solihull and supported the development of new voluntary and community organisations.
Delivering programmes that improve physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing, alongside leadership in public health and experience working with Healthwatch.
Supporting young people through programmes such as Young Solihull, Waterloo Social, Talent Match, and Steps to the Real Me — helping build confidence, skills, and positive futures
Providing job clubs, digital skills training, and self-employment support in partnership with Solihull College, WMCA, and Solihull Council, helping residents move into work.
Improving access to affordable food and leading a network of foodbank services across North Solihull.
North Solihull’s only community-led family hub, offering parenting support, youth services, mental health support, and financial advice.
Running an ISO9001-accredited assembly and packing social enterprise, creating inclusive employment opportunities. We are a Disability Confident Partner and a member of BASE (British Association of Supported Employment).
Working with partners to improve local environments and develop sustainable, inclusive spaces for community use.
We see every day the difference that the right support can make. By working together, we’re building stronger communities, creating opportunities, and improving lives across North Solihull.
