We’re proud to announce that in January 2026, Colebridge Trust achieved the Matrix Standard — a nationally recognised quality mark awarded by the Department for Education (DfE) for organisations delivering high-quality Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG).
As we approach 25 years of supporting communities across Solihull and East Birmingham, this accreditation provides independent assurance that our employment and skills support services are effective, accessible, and delivered to a high and consistent standard.
This is especially important for individuals facing multiple barriers to work or skills development, ensuring they receive the right support to help them move forward.
The Matrix Standard recognises organisations that deliver excellent information, advice and guidance, ensuring people can make informed decisions about their future.
For Colebridge Trust, this achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to:
Richard Clark, Chair of Trustees:
“Our employment and skills work is integral to removing the barriers that prevent people from living happy and healthy lives. Achieving Matrix reflects the dedication of our staff and volunteers and our commitment to continuous improvement.”
Ume Fernando, Employment and Skills Manager:
“The Matrix accreditation reinforces our ability to offer consistent, high-quality support that empowers people to make informed decisions about their futures.”
Chet Parmar, CEO:
“The assessor recognised our strong local presence and the value of our people’s lived experience. Matrix is a significant achievement and essential in demonstrating quality and assurance to funders and commissioners.”
From our community hubs in North Solihull, we work across the region to support adults, young people, and families with access to employment support, skills development, and personal guidance.
Our outreach work across Birmingham and Solihull ensures we can reach people where support is needed most, helping individuals overcome barriers and move towards brighter futures.
