We’ve had a busy and meaningful time across North Solihull, with new projects underway, community events, and moments to reflect together.
We’re pleased to be working alongside Solihull Council and Act on Energy on the Healthy Homes Project. This programme is supporting households in Chelmsley Wood and Fordbridge to make home improvements through a grants scheme, helping families create warmer, healthier homes.
If you live locally and would like to find out more, keep an eye out for our team at upcoming events.
Our team will be at Play Day at Meriden Adventure Playground on 6th August 2025. It’s a fantastic day for families, and a great chance to come and talk to us about all of our projects and the support available in the area. We’d love to see you there.
We’re continuing our partnership with Solihull College for another 12 months to deliver the Skills4Jobs project. This programme will help 50 North Solihull residents connect with employment and training opportunities, building skills, confidence and clear routes into work.
We had a brilliant time raising funds and awareness at Knowle Party in the Park this year. As Charity of the Year, we’re incredibly grateful for the support we received. The funds raised will go directly towards activities that benefit our local community.
Trustees and staff, past and present, recently came together to say goodbye to Dave Dunkley, who passed away unexpectedly this month.
Dave was a former North Solihull headteacher, school governor, and served on our board for over 10 years. He made a lasting contribution to both the community and our organisation, and he will be greatly missed.
