January has seen continued partnership work and strong progress in supporting local people and community groups.
Our partnership with Think Active and The Active Wellbeing Society continues, and we’ve successfully supported local groups and clubs to develop their activities and reach more people across the community.
Groups looking for support can contact Gemma at gemmaa@colebridge.org.
We are working in partnership with Solihull Council to deliver European-funded employment and skills programmes supporting:
Young people with additional needs
Lone parents
Adults with health conditions
These programmes help people overcome barriers, build confidence and skills, and move towards employment.
We’ve also had another successful year delivering employment and in-work support outcomes for residents in Chelmsley Wood through the West Midlands Combined Authority Connecting Communities pilot programme, helping people access work, stay in employment and progress.
