July has seen a range of activity across health, employment, inclusion and community support.
💚 “The Crowd” – Health & Wellbeing Initiative
The Trust is working to improve health and wellbeing in Solihull by developing “The Crowd” — a network of residents, groups and organisations who want to help people become more active, included, happy and healthy.
The first 500 people to register will be entered into a draw to win £250 worth of sports equipment.
To register your interest, email active@colebridge.org. The draw will take place by 31 August 2020.
💼 Employment & Skills Support
Our Employment and Skills team are now carrying out face-to-face appointments at Junction, by appointment only. Since March 2020, we have helped over 50 people into employment.
To contact the team, call 0121 448 0720 or email jobs@colebridge.org.
🌟 Supporting Health & Wellbeing Groups
We are looking to support 40+ health and wellbeing organisations and groups to improve their reach and become more inclusive through a funded programme.
For more information, contact gemmaa@colebridge.org.
🏭 Unit 21 Social Enterprise Reopens
Assembly and packing work at Unit 21, our inclusive social enterprise, resumed in July 2020. Staff and volunteers are working under strict health and safety measures, and we hope to resume support for inclusion participants by August.
Interested in work experience or inclusion activities? Email jobs@colebridge.org and quote “Unit 21”.
🛒 Around Again Social Supermarket
Around Again, our social supermarket, has temporarily suspended membership donations, adjusted opening hours, and is working with partner organisations to distribute food across North Solihull wards.
We are actively fundraising and seeking food donations.
To donate food, contact phyllisb@colebridge.org. Financial donations are also welcome — we are grateful for any support.
